Meet The Belsey Family

Mike and Linda purchased this property 30 years ago as a power of sale opportunity. 110 acres with working hay fields, a stream through the woods, 2 large outbuildings including an old cow barn and a century brick farmhouse. The property was crumbling, neglected and in need of restoration. Brick by brick, nail by nail, it came back to life. Countless years of hard work, a strong vision and determination are behind the beauty of Pondview, and we love to celebrate that with our new community.

As their daughters grew, Maddie and Samantha also became stewards of the property. Finding joy in exploring the woods, helping Mom in the Gardens or Dad in the Woodshop. Samantha’s now husband Brandon, has also taken a passion to Pondview and is apart of our team both front and back of house. We are a family with a strong foundation of hard work, passion and creativity. Our Family also has Maltese heritage, giving us that Italian flare and eye for design that you see throughout the Gardens. With decades of experience in customer service mixed with Samantha’s years of experience as a Wedding Coordinator, as a family we are now in business together to bring Peterborough’s newest Outdoor Wedding Venue. Our Mission is to become the leading Venue in the area with one strong goal - to give our Client’s their most favourite, joyous and memorable day ever.

The sky is the limit here at Pondview, and we are excited to continue to care for the land, celebrate its beauty and continue to grow its legacy.
